LessonsFromThePastEducation: Lessons from the Past
At EnREDando.org.ar, you can read:
IES Azahar adds: "El libro es un estudio sobre la educación en EEUU, ...; probablemente en España las maestras no dispondrían ni siquiera de contrato, puesto que, al no ser consideradas “personas jurídicas” difícilmente podrían firmar un contrato."
And in Argentina the same applies! :P (please contribute to this page if you know exactly when women got legal identity in Argentina. Thanks in advance!)
In this second thematic unit of our course, we'll look back in time to understand how the history of education has influenced our current understanding, beliefs and expectations. We will be researching about educators who certainly made a difference in their days, look at different official approaches to regulation of education in Argentina... and sharing reflections about how all this has made an impact upon you!

O.O Was it really this way? It's a bit too much
However, if teaching was what they liked perhaps it was a fair sacrifice. Don't know if I'd made my point..
And this contract was not made but 85 years ago!
